Cleaning Berber Carpet

Berber carpets one does not have to take on this laborious job. You can easily get rid of stains and clean Berber carpets through simple and
readily available cleaning materials. However, if the stain proves to be too tough for cleaning materials to take out, then you might have
to get a professional to take care of the job for you, which can be expensive.
In case a small stain developed on your carpet, you can actually clean it yourself. The task is something not laborious. The stain
can be removed through the help of materials you might have in your household. Small stains can easily be removed, however, larger stains
might have to take some considerable effort for it to be removed. The very first thing one has to do in case of a stain is to blot it with
plain white towels. This could probably be the best way to do since too much rubbing can damage the fiber.
There are common household chemicals that can be used to take away stains such as rubbing alcohol, vinegar, and household ammonia. You
can also check out the stores for commercial products developed solely for cleaning stains on carpets.
In getting rid of stains, get any of the mentioned chemicals and have these on a paper towel. To remove grease stains, mark the stain
using the paper towel. Then put a few drops of alcohol on the towel, and this will help in removing the grease. Remember however not
to apply a lot of alcohol since you might soak it into the carpet. Rub gently towards one direction to remove stains that are still
fresh or have not set too severely.
Stains that are water based can be taken out using wet vacuum. Do this immediately so that the stain will be adequately removed.
If the stain has been there for a long stretch you might need to moisturize it with a little water. Be on the look out in using the water since
you do not have to saturate the rug. Use the blotting technique, gently rubbing the paper in a solitary direction. You can also use a
few drops of dishwashing liquid just to get the stain removed. If this does not work, you can always opt for something stronger like
hydrogen peroxide.
